affordable, quality educational programs for everyone! Our signature programs include 4-H, Master Gardeners, Agriculture, and Food & Nutrition.
Extension programs focus on critical issues affecting people's daily lives. We support and empower people and communities to solve problems and improve their lives on the local level with a focus on quality-of-life issues:

Your donation to the Rock Island County Extension & 4-H Education Foundation is matched by the state of Illinois. 100% of your contribution goes directly to support LOCAL programs. You help us keep programming costs low so more people, families and youth in your community can take advantage of Extension classes and opportunities!
Donations support tuition waivers for low-income youth; school outreach programs; horticulture education; horticulture therapy for senior citizens; community beautification projects; youth and adult classes; 4-H clubs; youth programs, and much more!

Thanks to a generous donation of $25,000, the Rock Island County Extension & 4-H Education Foundation has established an Endowment!
An Endowment provides a permanent source of support in perpetuity. This endowment will benefit our organization and the people it serves, forever. You may add your support to help grow the funds. Over time, earnings from the Endowment will provide a steady stream of resources, enabling us to accumulate funds for renewal and enhancements of Rock Island County 4-H and Extension programming. Each year a portion of the investment earnings is available for our use in meeting ever-changing needs.
